Principle of the technology

energy2save lowers the input voltage electronically to a configurable value; the technology is based on the principle of an electronic transformer. There are two major advantage to this direct transformation method, in which the sine wave is preserved: very high efficiency and extremely fast and precise stabilization of the output voltage. The system response time is in the range of several microseconds.

Technical Data:

  • Installation: In existing switch cabinets or in additional cabinets.
  • Maximum of controlled power: 5 kW (10, 15 kW in preparation)
  • Function: Voltage reduction according to the principle of an eletrical transformer (new process). Configurable stabilzed sinusoidal output voltage.
  • Efficiency of control unit: 98-99 %
  • Controlled type of lamps: Mercury vapour high-pressure lamps, Sodium vapour high-pressure lamps, metal vapour lamps, fluorescent tubes.
  • Energy savings: up to 40 % (for each type of lamp)
  • ROI period: 2 to 3 years with installation. Additional savings in maintenance workings due to information about defective lamps etc.
