Possible uses

Wherever electrical energy is converted into light, energy2save can be used to achieve savings. Typical municipal, commercial or industrial uses are lighting systems for streets, parking lots, buildings, production halls, stores, warehouses and logistics facilities. energy2save is designed for use with all standard lamp systems:

• Sodium vapour high-pressure lamps, mercury vapour high-pressure lamps and halogen metal vapour lamps
• as typically used for illuminating streets, parking lots and buildings
• Fluorescent tubes with conventional ballasts
• typical in the retail segment and as a light source for production and logistics areas

Installation and return on investment

Installation of the system is simple. The voltage optimizer with its compact switch cabinet is positioned between the mains and the consumer line (see Fig. 2). The Ruhstrat system is a readyto- install solution which can also be retrofitted in existing systems. The expense for integration of the system is limited to the price of energy2save and the installation costs. No expensive modifications are required. In combination with the high savings in electricity costs, energy2save pays for itself within a short time. The return on investment is between 18 and 36 months, depending on the specific project.
